Haviland "Yale" Covered Serving Bowl

The Haviland "Yale" Covered Serving Bowl from Limoges, France is in great condition, with no chips, cracks, or crazing, a remarkable feat given its age. The back marks date this piece between 1894 and 1931, and its intricate design features delicate florals and berries, accented by a stunning gold rim. The handles have very slight, unnoticeable wear, commensurate with use and age. The bowl measures 10" wide from handle to handle, roughly 8" in diameter, and is 2 1/2" high without lid or roughly 4" high with the lid. There is minor wear to the gold brushing on the handles commensurate with age.
